A True Home Away From Home

Boarding at The ST: JONH'S RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL

ST: JONH'S RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL dates back to 1989, but has now been completely refurbished and modernized for today’s discerning boarding pupil. The boarding house is friendly, offering comfortable and homely living quarters on the school’s stunning campus in Kollam, Kerala.

Boarders at the St John's Residential School Kollam live in an idyllic and safe setting, well connected to social opportunities in the nearby town of Kundara just five miles away. Equally, they can enjoy exploring the rest of India as the school is just one hour from central Kollam and an hour from Trivandrum, Kerala, India.

The St John's Residential School offers a range of rooms for pupils from Year 7 upwards, including twins, singles and ensuites. St John's Residential School has been completely renovated, and opened in September 2019, with brand new accommodation. The boarding house has Wi-Fi and boarders are able to use the school’s numerous facilities including the swimming pool and fitness suite in their free time.

BOARDING MANAGERS MESSAGE

As the Boarding Manager of St John's Residential School, it is my distinct pleasure to address this publication.

Living on campus is a wonderful experience indeed. This new home, St John's Residential School is the milestone, the new place to explore, the place full of new experiences, adventures, friendships, laughter, sharing, and unforgettable moments. It is a world of all possibilities, in which everything revolves around oneself and others; a world where children learn to trust in themselves and in others; a world in which they learn core values that will help them grow and develop throughout their life

A diverse living environment offering many opportunities for personal growth which is based on converting routine into a bright organized lifetime. St John's Residential School is a wonderful place to interact with people of different backgrounds and philosophies, all pursuing the same goal: education. We focus strongly on social experience and the success of our students.

Throughout their stay in our Boarding School, we will stand by your child, guide them, hold their hand; we will look after them to make them feel comfortable in a safe and secure environment: we make sure your child is happy to be there and is making the most of this wonderful experience!

Your child deserves the best. You can count on us.

Fr. Thomas Joseph (Jovin), OSA

As well as our incredible Enrichment Programme, which is offered throughout the school week to all of our pupils, we provide exciting weekend activities, events and opportunities for boarding pupils.
